QE™ is probably the best-selling ESL/EFL software series in the world, having sold over 600,000 copies (including more than 500,000 CDs in Japan alone). We've tried to keep it affordable, since we know that most ESL programs don't have huge computer lab budgets, but we haven't skimped on features. If you compare what we provide with anything else out there, you'll see that Quick English™ is truly the best value in the ESL software market.
Prices start at just $35 for a single CD, and drop rapidly off from there. You can outfit a typical computer lab (20 computers) for just $400. If you're thinking about a large order, be sure to contact us to ask about pricing.
Each Quick English™ CD-ROM comes with an impressive set of multimedia features, including full-motion video, both normal and "carefully articulated" audio, lots of lesson material, test and review modules, games, and more! And Quick English™ will run on practically any existing Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP systems, from older 486 systems on up. However, we have done no testing with any variety of Windows Vista, so support for this platform is not guaranteed. We recommend downloading and trying the QE™ Demo version before ordering.
Note: There is a known bug in the older versions of all the Quick English™ titles: the voice-record/playback feature sometimes fails to work on certain Windows 2000 and XP systems. (Also, sometimes some of the audio files in the games don't play.) If your QE™ has this bug, click here for the fix.

Pricing/Ordering:Single-copy orders are $35 each, plus $10 for shipping & handling. We no longer offer on-line ordering; most of our sales traffic is in the form of faxed purchase orders; if you'd prefer to order in a different manner, send us an e-mail and we'll be happy to work something out!
The $10 shipping and handling fee can get expensive, so we've added a Lab Pack option for each title. A Lab Pack consists of 5 copies of a particular CD, and is priced at $165 + the $10. That way, you get five CDs for $175 total - a very economical way to equip your computer lab!

- Additional discounts are available via special order; contact us for details. For example, ten-copy orders are $30 per CD; twenty-copy orders are $20 per CD. Shipping and handling on orders of this size is free in the U.S. and Canada.
- For multi-copy orders, all CDs must be copies of a single title. Contact us for pricing if you want to mix and match titles, or for quantities other than shown.
- Shipping and handling pricing refers to U.S. orders only. Shipping may be higher for international orders, and may also include additional fees to cover duties and taxes.
Demo Version:We've taken the QE™ lesson with the shortest video segment (which happens to be lesson number one from the Business Volume 1 CD) and made it into a self-contained Demo version of the software. No features were left out of the Demo. We wanted you to be able to experience a complete lesson, but we also wanted the download to be as small as possible.
Besides choosing the lesson with the shortest video segment (and therefore the fewest accompanying audio files), the Demo version has had several changes to eliminate as many audio files as possible to further reduce the size of the download. These include:
- only one Listening Comprehension question
- only one active topic in the Grammar and Culture Corners
- only one Hangman puzzle
- only one Listening Crossword puzzle
- only female voice in the Listening Crossword
- only one active phoneme in the Pronunciation Review
- only female voice in the Pronunciation Review
Everything else should be completely unaltered from the real version.

We've been doing some work to add Chinese support to Quick English. This version also fixes the audio bug on Windows 2000 and XP systems. If you'd like to try it, you're more than welcome. Let us know if you find any bugs! (It should run on any Windows 2000 or XP system, although you'll need to have Chinese fonts installed to see the characters. It won't run on English Win98 or WinME systems. It should run on Chinese Win98 or WinME systems...)

Manuals and Workbooks
All Quick English™ version 2.0 CD-ROMs include the manuals and workbooks for General 1, General 2, Business 1, and Business 2. These files may also be downloaded for free, and may be modified, printed out and copied for incidental, personal, or classroom use. Please let us know of spelling and other errors you find.
Each General and Business file contains WordPerfect 6/8 and Word 6/95 versions. (Any modern word processor should be able to import at least one of these.) Click on the file name to begin downloading.
